The Ingenico Desk 5000 is the step-up countertop terminal: a large 3.5-inch touchscreen turns the point of sale into a point of service, with room for interactive business applications on Ingenico's Telium TETRA platform alongside payment acceptance.

This model connects by Ethernet and takes chip, PIN, and contactless payments in a full-featured countertop station. If your counter staff live on the terminal all day — looking things up, running apps, and processing in between — the bigger screen and app capability are the difference between a payment box and a work tool.
